On May 4, 2002, I graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. I also took a number of Spanish classes as well. My major had switched to business from education in 2000. Graduation was held on the lawn between Green Hall and Memorial Library. The class of 2002 consisted of around 350 people. We had a great crowd. I was so excited to finally graduate. This photograph was taken shortly after graduation commencement. I'm with my mother and my father. My sister also attended, but is not in the photograph. I have not been back to Berry since I graduated, but anticipate a trip on December 13th, 2003, as I am attending a wedding. A lot of great experiences from college, but ready to move on with life and make something of myself. Here I Come!!! |
Here I am with Joe Psaila after graduation. Joe and I played on the same softball team at Berry. We were outfielders together. Intramural sports made college that much more fun. For four (what seemed long) years, I spent my life in Rome. By the time graduation rolled around, I was more than ready to get back towards Atlanta and get to work. During my years at Berry, I had worked on the college grounds team, and spent my last year as an assistant to one of my finance professors. Overall, college was a great experience and I feel like I got a great education. Now I'm puting things to work at the Federal Reserve. I do a pretty good job at keeping in touch with old roommates and friends... it's amazing how fast time is already starting to go by. Graduating Class of 2002. |

Nothing is better than coming home and celebrating. My aunt got me the cake in the photograph. The picture is of one of the buildings at Berry. It was where I went to listen to various orchestra concerts, and it was also where the semi-formal and formal dances were held each fall and spring. In the photograph to the bottom, is my aunt, uncle and cousins. From left to right: Cacey, Brenda, Marc, Clayton, and me. Clayton plays football for Brookwood High School. He is on the all-county team and I think that he has a great future ahead of him. I know we are all very proud of him. To say the least, it's great to have a loving and supportive family that back you up. I definitely have one of those :) |
For more information about Berry College, please check out their website at www.berry.edu. You can also check out the Campbell School of Business from which I spent many days and nights in that building. I know you can access it from the homepage, but I think the web address is www.campbell.berry.edu. Check it out!!!! |
