Our Honeymoon
June 2005
Niagara Falls, Canada
On Sunday, June 11, we left early in the morning and drove fron Palermo, NY to Niagara Falls.  It was about a three hour drive.  This photograph wak taken the morning we left.  Notice the "Just Married" sticker on the back of my truck.  Niagara Falls was a place that Lisa and I both were interested in visiting, and we knew that no matter where we went it would be fun because we're together.  After goodbyes to both sets of parents, and well wishes that Nathan could find his way through the Syracuse airport without a panic attack, we set off on our way to Canada.
American Falls
Horseshoe Falls
We stayed busy while at Niagara Falls.  This photo is of us getting ready to board the Maid of the Mist.  We also went to the "Journey Behind the Falls," Butterfly Conservatory, Botanical Gardens, the Casinos, Marine Land, Niagara on the Lake, Whirlpool, and the Floral Clock to name a few.  We had some great food too (and some late night room service desserts).  We saw fireworks, street performers, museums, and tourist shops and cafes.  We definitely made the most of our time.
We stayed at the Hilton on the 27th floor.  We had a magnificent view of the Horseshoe and American falls.  On our last night in town, Lisa and I ate at the top of the Hilton at the Watermark Restaurant.  After a few drinks, we enjoyed our dinner together before heading over to the Casino for a bit of gambling fun.  This photo is of Lisa before we went to dinner that night.  Whether we were sipping on a martini or relaxing on the patios of nearby restaurants, we really enjoyed our stay - not to mention the great room.
Lisa and I really enjoyed the short fifteen minute drives up to Niagara on the Lake.  It's a small town located in the heart of wine country.  We spent one afternoon in the area, stopping at several wineries and general stores.  This photo is of one of the wineries that we passed along the route from our hotel to the town.
