| This course covers the first one-half year of a one year high school Algebra course. This course is to be studied over one school year. The course includes the study of the following topics by chapter: Ch. 1 Real Numbers Ch 2 Algebraic Expressions Ch. 3 Equations in one Variable Ch. 4 More Equations in one Variable Ch. 5 Inequalities in one Variable Ch. 6 Polynomials Ch. 7 Factoring Polynomials Ch. 8 Rational Polynomial expressions and equations The book we are currently using is Prentice Hall Algebra I.
