Tasks: 1. Create your own cave drawings or prehistoric monument either

on posterboard or using your choice of appropriate building materials.

2. After you’ve created it, write a 200-300 word description of it, in

French, including where its found, what its made of, physical characteristics, etc. Then describe how someone in the year 12006AD would interpret it. For example, what would it reveal about your society, major world events, your religious beliefs, priorities in your life, etc.

Rubric:

On-time Completion of Project 10 pts.

Time and Effort is Evident 10 pts.

Task 1: Creativty & Originality 10 pts.

Meaning of Drawing or Monument is Evident 10 pts.

Appropriate Materials Used 10 pts.

Task 2: Monument or drawing is described correctly 10 pts.

Future interpretation of your creation is given 10 pts.

Description is Organized and Logically Coherent 10 pts.

Vocabulary is Varied & Structures are Correct 10 pts.

Length is Appropriate (200-300 words) 10 pts.
