French IV
French IV is an elective course for those students wishing to further their knowledge and love of France and the French language beyond the Regents curriculum. Students extend their use and knowledge of the French language and structural conventions in a conversation-based environment. Listening, speaking, reading comprehension, and advanced writing skills are enhanced through such activities as listening to popular French music, viewing and critiquing authentic French and Quebecois films, explicating French poetry, and reading various newspaper and magazine articles for comprehension and discussion of current events and modern culture.
