2 month T update

Here we are, 2 months to the day since I started T.  The changes are happening slowly, but they're happening.  I have another follow-up tomorrow.  I still have the feeling in the 2nd week after my shot that I need to do another shot.  Kind of like the T is wearing out of my system fast, and my body is saying "Please, sir, can I have some more?"  I'm going to bring that up with the doctor.

Oh yeah, and I haven't had a cigarette in 2 weeks.  I've been taking my Zyban like a good little boy, and I just removed my last patch today, which means I'm officially sans nicotine.  I'm hoping the doctor will be giving me the lower dose patches, rather than just cutting me off, but we'll see.

And now, on to the stuff you really wanna see.

Voice:  It keeps slowly dropping.  Not in big jumps, but just gradually creeping lower.  It's nice, since I haven't been suffering from "tranny voice."  I don't sound like a 12-year-old boy when I talk, which is one of the things I was dreading.  My voice may yet break, but it hasn't yet, and I'm hoping it stays that way.

Face:  I'm still producing more oil than Texas.  I haven't had any major breakouts, just a few random zits here and there.  My jawline is definitely squaring off noticeably.  I've noticed a couple new hairs, but nothing grand.  My sideburns are filling in the blank spots nicely, though, and the facial hair I was already able to grow is defintely coming in faster and coarser.

Body:  I'm turning into a gorilla!!!  No, really.  I glanced down at my chest the other day while sitting on the throne before taking a shower, and literally jumped out of shock.  My
entire chest is covered in fine, dark hairs.  My happy trail is spreading laterally across my gut (no easy feat considering the acreage involved), and climbing northward.  The hair on my thighs appears to be getting thicker and more profuse.  And I think the fat is starting to move off my hips and butt.  Either that, or I'm losing more weight than I thought, because my pants are definitely getting looser.  I do feel like my metabolism is speeding up.  I've noticed I don't get cold as easily, and I get warmer quicker.  Unfortunately, as a result, that means I'm sweating more.  Thank God for deodorants.  But more on that a little further down.

Libido:  Amazingly enough, I'm still not your basic horny teenage boy.  I'll get random wood while checking out a hot woman, or if I catch something erotic on TV, but I'm not tackling the wife and ravaging her every 7 minutes.  I know she wishes I would.

Cock:  There's slow, gradual growth there.  He still jumps out and says "Howdy!" at random moments while showering or using the toilet, and it's still a bit of a shock when he does.

Appetite/Energy:  My appetite seems to be levelling off.  I'll get days where I'm absolutely ravenous, and days where I'm not so hungry, but those are becoming fewer and fewer.  I have noticed a tendency to crave more meats and less starches and vegetables though.  Which is scary, since I've always been the type to want a side of pork chops with my steak.  Dear God, if you are what you eat, I must be a butcher shop.

Bodily odors:  I have noticed on "scrubby days" (i.e. no shower, no getting dressed, no nothin), I smell worse than I used to.  On an average day I haven't noticed a whole lot of change, unless I've been particularly sweaty.  Even then, it's not a huge change, but it's a noticeable one.  My sweat is starting to smell stronger.  As I said above, thank God for deodorant.  I'd be afraid of what I'd smell like without it.

Mood:  Well, I have been snappier the last few weeks, but a lot of that can be attributed to stress.  I swear, someone took our "Insanity" knob and turned it into the red zone.  Couple that with trying to quit smoking, and yeah, I've been cranky.  I haven't really had any bad cravings thanks to the patches, but overcoming the psychological aspects has been a bitch.  I
really want a cigarette when I wake up, and right after eating.  Of course, now that I'm out of patches, I wouldn't be surprised to be hit with cravings.  I'll have to monitor this one a bit more as time goes on.

And there you have it.  We hope you've enjoyed your visit to Mikeland today.  Please exit the car to the left, and watch your step.
