| 9/19/05 Gadzooks, I'm actually going to update on time! Whoda thunk it, right? As I said, I had an appointment on the 31st. I chatted with the doc for a bit, and she wrote a lab order for me to have my T levels checked. She told me that if everything looked okay, I wouldn't have to see her again for 6 months, which would be the end of March, and she sent me off to the vampires. I received a card in the mail from her about a week later that said my T levels were "a little high," and she changed my shot schedule to every 8 days. So, unless something goes horribly awry, I'll be on the same dose and schedule until almost Easter. And now to the things you actually came here to read about. Voice: May still be slipping lower, but it's hard to tell right now. I definitely have lost the ablility to make certain sounds. For instance, I can't "woohoo" anymore. I'm not sure if this is a permanent change, or if I'll regain a higher range once my voice stablilizes. Face: The oil bath seems to be subsiding a bit. I'm still getting the odd zit, but the place it's been the worst has been my upper back. I've definitely acquired a few new facial hairs. Mostly across my cheeks, but there's a couple new ones on my upper lip as well. I'd be happier if all the new hair I'm growing on my back would transplant itself to my face. Body: Wow. This is really where I'm noticing the most changes right now. Especially in the hair department. I've got quite the nice patch of chest hair that's come in down the middle, and it's spreading out across both sides. My happy trail has finally met up with my chest hair, and my belly hair is continuing it's lateral migration at an astonishing rate. My legs are definitely hairier now. The patches that were almost hairless (which were few and far between to begin with) are now quite hairy and getting furrier almost by the second. My muscles have gotten quite a bit denser, and I was extremely surprised in the shower the other day when I discovered calf muscles that weren't there before. I wonder whose they actually are. Libido: No real changes in this department. Unfortunately. Cock: I can't believe how big he's gotten! I've actually had to change how I masturbate because of it. Out of curiosity I stuck a mirror down there to see for myself how much bigger he's getting, and I literally said "Whoa!" I haven't bothered to measure, but if I had to guess I'd say he's about 3/4" long. I think he's gotten a littler girthier too, but I wouldn't swear to that one. Appetite/Energy: My energy levels are still staying fairly level, and higher than they were pre-T. Unfortunately, so is my appetite. I'm eating like a goddamn horse. Or at least, I am when I can. My jaw has been tight and sore the last week or so, and it's making it difficult to eat at times. I always seem to be hungry though. Like I need to eat or something. Sheesh. Bodily odors: I definitely notice when I stink more. Yow. I try not to, but when I do it's definitely stronger. Yuk. Mood: I am definitely less likely to put up with people's shit these days. I'm also more likely to tell people where to go, and draw them a map if necessary. That being said, I don't seem to dwell on things that irritate me as much as I used to. I get pissed, I vent, I move on. I prefer it that way. So there it is. I can't believe it's already been 4 months. It feels like it's only been a couple of weeks or something. It's like I'll blink and it'll be a year. Maybe if I can remember to, I'll empty the memory card on my digital camera and get a couple of pics. That's kind of a big "if" though. I'm a bit of an airhead. |
