This unit covers general knowledge.
Evaluations include a continents map quiz, vocabulary quiz, a small project, and a Unit Test. Activities include maps, charts, videos, and group work. Homework consists of looking up vocabulary words if needed and learning them, completing your project, and studying for tests.

Time does not permit devoting an entire unit to this region. Ideally we would have done this before the 9 weeks test, but we will spend 2 or 3 class periods on it, have a short quiz, then move on. Questions on the final include Eastern Europe and Northern Eurasia.

Unit 6 - Asia - 2 divisions: South Asia & East Asia
Unit 7 - Australia & Pacific world (short!)
