Homework will be sent home on Mondays in the RED homework folder and needs to be returned to school on Fridays.
You will find your child's required reading log on the left side. Please take the time every day to read (at least 15 minutes) and initial your child's reading log. If your child meets the monthly requirement (3 or less days of missed reading), he/she will sign our class Panther Paw to bring "Run Book to the Future!"
Please do not send in your child's homework folder early. Also, please let your child do his/her own homework. It is ok for you to check it to make sure it is correct, but please do not do it for him/her.
Refrigerator Stories
Your child will bring home a new Refrigerator Story every Monday in the BLUE refrigerator story folder. Please place the story on your refrigerator for your child to practice reading daily. Students should practice pointing to the words when reading and find our focus popcorn word of the week too.
On Fridays, secure the refrigerator story in the back of the folder using the 3 prongs. |
