Being the premiere pageant for married women, the Mrs. Canada International pageant was developed to have higher standards than other pageant systems by showcasing the accomplishments of today's married woman.

The system helps women reach greater potential within their lives by promoting them, their accomplishments, and their commitment to family, marriage and their communities.

Each accepted contestant receives an official crown and sash to represent her city in the National Pageant. She is also given the opportunity to select a platform of her choice that she will promote for one year while she holds her city title.

This year's national pageant is scheduled to take place June 19th to 22nd in London, Ontario.
