Marta's Chocolate Sauce

1 cup sugar

3 Tbsp cocoa

3 Tbsp margarine

3/4 cup evaporated milk

1 tsp vanilla

Mix sugar and cocoa in top of double boiler.  Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.  Add butter, stirring until blended.  Slowly pour in milk.  Bring mixture to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.  Cool 2 minutes; add vanilla and stir well.   Pour into jars.  Allow to cool before covering.

Serve warm over ice cream or drizzle on Scott's Mississippi Mud Pie.
