Sauteed Mushrooms

1 lb fresh whole mushrooms

2 or 3 Tbsp butter or margarine

1/4 onion, chopped

Pinch of powdered thyme

1/4 tsp garlic powder

Pepper to taste

1/4 cup red wine (optional)

Melt butter in skillet.   Add remaining ingredients and saute until onions are transparent and mushrooms are of desired tenderness.
