Brunch Punch

6 quarts black coffee at room temperature

3/4 cup sugar or to taste

1 Tbsp vanilla

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 quart heavy cream

1 quart coffee ice cream

1 quart vanilla ice cream

In a punch bowl, stir together coffee and sugar until sugar dissolves.  Stir in vanilla and spices.   In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.  Blend cream into coffee.  Break ice cream into pieces with a spoon; add to coffee mixture.

Makes 20 servings.
