"One exciting scary movie!"
On a very rainy night, 10 people all get stranded at a motel. There is a limo driver (John Cusack) and a has been actress (?), a hooker (Amanda Peet), a 3 member family (with the Dr. from Scrubs and was also a guy in Platoon), the motel owner, a cop (Ray Liota) who is transporting a prisoner (Jake Busey), and a young just married couple. The movie opens with how they all got there. It’s a bunch of flashbacks which is good. After a little while, a the actress is found murdered. They begin thinking who it could be then they go check on the prisoner who turns out to be a serial killer. They go back to the bathroom where he is handcuffed and find him missing. After that, I can’t say anymore because it is plot twist after plot twist. And after someone is killed, they find a room key counting down from ten on the body.
This is a very entertaining movie. You can’t stop paying attention because something is always happening and changing.  This is slasher/mystery movie where the suspects keep being killed off. Flash backs (and flash forwards) happen throughout the movie. The movie seems like it has 4 or something possible endings but eventually ends with one not expected. The movie is effectively shows intensity and a few pop out and scare you moments. The constant twists make this an exciting thriller. The acting is excellent the only actress lady I didn’t like (You weren’t supposed to because she’s a bad person). The movie has its gory moments but not too bad. People are hit by car and crushed, blown up, baseball bat shoved down throat, and decapitated just to name a few. I would see it again because it is an effective movie. Tyler saw it with me and he enjoyed it too. I think it had a message but I forgot.

Should you see it?    Yes
