Ft. Wright students visit the library media center each week with their class to check out library books, listen to stories, and participate in library lessons with the media specialist.  Students learn how to locate books by author, title, and subject.  They learn about fiction, nonfiction and biography books. Students practice research skills using encyclopedias, atlases, dictionaries, the Internet, and other resources. Students may also visit the library media center with teacher permission whenever they have an information need. The goal of the Ft. Wright Library Media Center is to create a love of reading and to foster the information literacy skills needed for lifelong learning. Please encourage your child to return their library book each week on their check out day!
