Final Draft Format: Level III

3 English III
The following guidelines for formatting the final draft of any Level III essay must be followed
explicitly.  Deviation from these guidelines will result in a loss of points. 
1.  Final drafts may be typed or handwritten in blue or black ink.
be size 12 font
If typed, the manuscript must . . .
be double-spaced
have 1" margins all the way around
If handwritten, the manuscript must . . .
be on college-ruled notebook paper with edges neatly trimmed
be printed or written as neatly as possible
be single-spaced
2.  Use only the front of each page for final drafts.
3.  Include a formal heading in the upper right-hand corner of the page with the
following information:
Student name, Class period and title, Date handed in, and Assignment title.

4.  Number each page after the first in the upper right-hand corner.
5.  Include an original title centered at the top of the page below the heading.
7.  Staple multiple pages together in the upper left-hand corner.

8.  Submit completed manuscripts in your Final Draft folder, which Mrs. Huertero will provide.
6.  Skip an extra line below the title before beginning the body of your essay.
