| War presentations were graded on the following criteria: 15 points . . . . Visuals用resenters must include at least three (3) visuals in their slides (e.g. photos, diagrams, illustrations) to enhance their presentations. Explanations of visuals should be provided on the slides, if their relevance is not immediately apparent. Visuals may appear on any slide or series of slides. 15 points . . . . Presentation容ach presenter should have a role in presenting the Powerpoint to the class. Participation will be taken into account as well as conventions and attractiveness of the presentation. 20 points . . . . Research用resenters must research their topic using at least two (2) TEXT (e.g. book, newspaper, magazine) resources (novel included) AND at least two (2) ELECTRONIC (e.g. website, computer encyclopedia). Each resource must be cited on a Works Cited slide according to MLA guidelines. 20 points . . . .Quotes用resenters must include at least three (3) RELEVANT quotes from the novel that go with their topic. These may appear on any slide or series of slides. Be sure to explain how the quote pertains to your topic. 30 points . . . . Creative Response用resenters may collaborate within their groups or assign this task to an individual group member. All responses must be original writings by at least one group member and consist of at least 200 words. The response may be a story, poem, scene, character diary, letter home, etc., but it must relate directly to the presentation topic. Creativity and relationship to the novel and the topic will be taken into account. |
