Link Page

The purpose of this link page is to help those who seek further information on tigers.  For many of you this will serve as an answer to your questions, such as "Where can I adopt a tiger" "Where can I find more pictures" "What sort of things can I do to save these beautiful animals from extinction" and many other questions you all have asked.

    • The Tiger Information Center  - http://www.5tigers.org/ ¦  "The Tiger Information Center is dedicated to providing information to help preserve the remaining 5 subspecies of tigers".  This page has an abundant of information on the remaining species of tigers, and has great resources for teachers to teach to children, and a nice kids section.  In my opinion this is one of the best out there.

    •

    •   All for TIGERS - http://www.tiger.to/aft/index.html ¦ This site is dedicated to the tigers of the world.  The site is here to provide information on tigers, pictures, and links to other sites dealing with tigers and how to help them survive. We must do everything we can to save the tigers! This site is LOADED with pictures of each species of tigers remaining, and even some that are extinct.  A very professional site.  They also have donations set up so you can help in the tigers survival.

    • Adopt a Tiger - http://www.uidaho.edu/rsrch/hwi/adopt.htm ¦ Here it is folks.  The place where you can adopt a tiger, or find out how to.  You sign up for a small fee, and they will send you a kit which includes a poster, bumper sticker, educational brochure, registration card, photos and biographies of the available tigers.  Then from there you can decide upon adopting.  I encourage any one who can afford it to please adopt a tiger, save them from extinction.

    • Welcome to Tigris - http://web.inter.nl.net/users/tiger/ ¦ Tigris raises funds for conservation projects that are carried out by both Russian and Western organizations. These funds come from donations and sponsorship. However, fundraising alone isn't enough. The tigers and leopards are only helped when effective programs are carried out in Russia. Tigris supports projects that make sense and are well managed. To select effective projects it is necessary to know the local conditions and the qualities of the people and organizations that are involved.  Over 90% of all donations are channeled directly to the projects in Russia.  Another great page for donation purposes, and has tons of information on Siberian tigers, and the Amur leopard.  Very good page!

    • Sierra Club Volunteers Saving Wild Tigers - http://www.sierraactivist.org/tigers/ ¦  If your looking to save tigers and not sure how this is a great way to go about it.  You are able to donate some money to the Sierra Club who then uses the money to help keep tigers alive around the world.  It is a group of volunteers who are not pocketing your money, the money goes straight to the cause.  I urge everyone to donate to this cause.

    •

    • WWF - US World Wildlife Fund - http://www.worldwildlife.org/ ¦ I believe this is the largest organization out there for preserving our wildlife, and tigers.  Known worldwide by its panda logo, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is dedicated to protecting the world's wildlife and wild lands. The largest privately supported international conservation organization in the world, WWF has more than 1 million members in the U.S. alone. Since its inception in 1961, WWF has invested in over 13,100 projects in 157 countries.  I encourage everyone to become a member, it is free to sign up but is beneficial to donate, you also receive a free t-shirt if you donate.  They also have a Conservation Action Network which is WWF's (free!) online advocacy network.
