Untitled and finished; or not?

An athlete
primed and ready.
Focused
all the time.
Locked in concentration.
Ready, run and rhyme.

Piercing eyes
are glazey.
Glaring
ever fore.
Aft, nor stern,
nor port,
are not seen any more.

Onward,
must be onward.
Into distant dream.
Trim, and tight, and edgy.
Tensed as tense might seem.
Taunt and tensely tightened.
Waiting for the gun.
Focussed
ever more so.
Ready, rhyme and run.

Arrow at the standby;
drawn and primed for flight.
Boxer set with gloves on;
waits for bell to fight.
Swimmer on the start blocks;
Bent and crouched and set.

In one way they're not started;

But are they finished yet?
