2003-2004 "Online" Course Syllabus

1300-2002

This is an outline of material that will be covered before you take the A.P. Exam in May. You will be responsible for the following:

  1. 3 Document Based Questions (DBQ’s) which will count for 80pts.
  2. Approximately 15 tests that are each are worth 100pts.
  3. And homework assignments on a daily basis. You will always have something to do for A.P. European History, so much that you should be prepared to spend at least 1 hour a night on this subject alone. I do understand that some of you will not need that much time and some of you may need more to complete what ever assignment you have, this is just a suggested amount of time. Please familiarize yourself with your textbook, you will be assigned and tested on the whole thing.
  4. There will also be additional Century Projects (CP’s) due at the end of each century. Each person will be responsible to compile a timeline of the century with at least 50 dates with information. They are worth 300%.
  5. MAPS… every test will have a map component, if you are not aware of the countries you need to get aware as soon as possible, you will need to know all of the regions, countries, and many of the capitals on the continent.

6. You will also be given a book list of books that you must review.

1400’s- October 9

1500’s- November 4

1600’s- November 20

1700’s- December 18

1800’s- January 12

1900’s- March 4

DBQ’s: one will be assigned in each of these months.
