At the Beach page 2 |
| After my ride on the banana boat it was time to get my land legs again so I trudged off back up the beach. It wasn't long before I could walk properly again without feeling like I was about to fall over every few seconds and as soon as I was alright I decided it was time to get out the old bucket and spade and dig a huge hole and build a few sandcastles! So here's a picture of me getting started! |
| After tiring myself out digging holes and building castles I decided I needed another rest so I sprawled myself out on the sand and took a quick nap! When I woke up, I felt a bit funny, heavier than usual and a bit cold from the neck down. I also realised I was having trouble moving my arms and legs!! I managed to lift my head up and soon realised what was going on! Someone had thought it would be fun to bury me in the sand whilst I was sleeping!! Very funny, I'm sure! I managed to wriggle free and dust myself off in no time but I'll think twice about nodding off while lying on the beach in future! |
| I decided to go and take a walk and explore the beach to take my mind off that last experience!! There were lots of rock pools and I saw a few crabs scuttling about in them. The sea was lovely and clear and I saw lots of shoals of fish zooming around!! On my way back up the beach I also bumped into this fellow! A rather large jelly fish!! I decided to be brave and get close enough to it to have a photo taken with it, being very careful not to go near its tentacles in case I got stung!! |
