| Then a people carrier arrived and out hopped.....Hear'say!! they waved and all ran in to perform!! Soon they had finished their set and came out to leave. But not before they had come and said hello to me!! Amid cheers of "Whi-whooo Danny" came a cry "MR TED LOVES HEAR'SAY!!" My beloved suzanne came running over to say hi!! I asked her to pose for a photo with me and of course she agreed. Holding me affectionately through the bars she lovingly stuck her tongue out and posed!! With her breath on my neck I could feel all the hairs stand on end!! Then she said goodbye and left. |
| It was a cold saturday night and me and Pete had travelled over to Coventry to see G@P with Sally, Lisa and Sarah. They had met them all the previous week but had left me at home!! we adventured to the Skydome which was where G@P were performing. Upon arrival we met some of Pete's friends who were very happy to see me there!! We spoke to the the security man and asked him what time G@P would be arriving only to be told they weren't!! They had cancelled weeks ago!! |
| Next came human giant Noel!! I asked him if he could pose and he said that he would love to!! Staring lovingly at me, Pete took the picture. I then told him how Kelly and Becky, the 'Noel pick me' girls, said Hi and he laughed saying "HOHOHOHO they do, do they? HOHOHO!!" Noel continued to say that I was a lovely teddy and then made his goodbyes. Once i was scared of Noel, as I had heard a rumour that he pulled teddies' legs off, but now I can only laugh it off as he really is a gentle giant.....with a booming laugh!! HOHOHOHO!!! |
| My darling Myleene then came over. When she saw me she yelled "MR TED!" and snatched me from Pete's hands to pose for a picture before I had even asked!! She then looked at me and said "thats no good for mr ted" and pulled me through the bars. I got stuck half way through and Myleene gently eased my head through. She then turned around to the man with a camcorder who was filming the whole thing for Hear'say and shouted "This is mr ted!! He's our mascot!!" I was so embarrassed!! She then posed for her photo and gently squeezed me through the bars again. |
| Finally Danny came over. You could tell that he was already very excited about something. He reached into his pocket and said "Have you seen my picture?" He produced a picture of himself with 5 Bob the Builder look-a-likes. I told him that we had seen them go in and he replied "When i seen 'em i just had to have my picture with 'em! they were wicked" Then Pete interrupted and asked if he would pose for a photo with me. He said "Ahh! thats him ennit!? Our thingy!?! What d'ya call him?" Pete replied "Your mascot?" and Danny said "Yeah thats it!!" and posed for a pic looking very proud indeed!! |
| And that was my night with Hear'say. It started off with huge disappontment and ended in great joy. It was just a shame Kym couldn't have been there!! |
