THE BATH TUB
The bath tub's primary usage is to bathe oneself. More things can be done in the tub beside getting washed. The bath tub can be a play area. There are many children toys on the market that can be used in the tub. Children can play with toy boats, fish, or any other toy that will float in water.The bath tub can be used for reading. I have read magazines, and catalogs in the tub. It is relaxing to read while lying in warm water.
Thinking can also be done while taking a bath. I have solved computer programming problems while lying in a warm tub. My mind usually goes blank while I am relaxing in the tub. A solution to a problem that I have been working on will just pop into my head when I am in the tub.
Who says that a bath tub is just for bathing? Think about the tub for other uses.
SECRETARY'S DAY
The retail conspiracy strikes again in April. April twenty-fourth is Secretary’s Day. The retail industry wants bosses to spend money to honor their secretaries on the twenty-fourth of April. I have nothing against honoring secretaries. Many secretaries go beyond their duties, and should be honored. I feel that it is more appropriate to honor secretaries on the anniversary of their start of employment. A boss should honor the secretary on the anniversary of the boss' start of employment in the case where there is already an established secretary. An anniversary has more meaning then a date on the calendar established by the retail conspiracy.
