I was born in Salmon Arm, BC and moved to Vancouver to attend UBC. At UBC I studied Chemistry and kept busy with many different intramural sports. I also worked for UBC Housing and Conferences as a Resident Advisor in Totem Park and Place Vanier. After Graduating I moved to Japan for a year to teach English. I returned to Vancouver to enter in the Bachelor of Education program at UBC. Currently I am employed at Sir Charles Tupper in Vancouver
