My employment troubles
continued with Daylight Transport. I found this position through a temporary
employment agency; United Temporary Services. I completed my probation period and
was hired as a permanent employee. I was still litigating the Vista Del Mar
case and needed time off for court sessions and document filings. I always got
time off approved prior to leaving work early or coming in late. My rapport
with management caused a supervisor to become angered to the point she
falsified documents against me and terminated me while management was out on
leave. I later found out about the falsified “attendance warning documents”
when I was denied unemployment benefits. This caused me to seek assistance from
the Legal Aid foundation and resulted in a judgment against Daylight Transport
for $3,000.
Sadly, my employment
disasters didn’t end there. I moved to the San Fernando Valley and started
working with Packard Bell through Adia Temporary Services.
