Click on the AIR BRUSH and then the
TOGGLE CONTROL PALETTE
as shown below.

Choose the color you want to use for your brush by clicking on the top box.
A color chart will come up, click on the one you want to use.
I chose PURPLE.

Under the BRUSH TIP tab, click on BRUSH OPTIONS.

Then click on CUSTOM brushes.

And your Custom Brushes will come up as shown below:

Click on the one you want to select. I clicked on the MOON.
Then go to your New Image and with the AIR BRUSH,
click on it withyour left mouse button.
You will get this:

If you want the image smaller, just change it where
you see SIZE under the BRUSH TIP tab.
Another option is using a PAPER TEXTURE.
You use them by first clicking on the AIR BRUSH,
TOOL CONTROL PALETTE, then on the TOOL CONTROLS
tab and choosing a paper texture as shown below.

For this example, I set the size at 200 as shown below:

And using the AIR BRUSH, clicked on a new image for the results below.
The longer you hold your mouse down the darker the color will become.

You can add a font that looks like graffiti LOL
