This paper was done for Spanish 2. My teacher marked all over this paper because I did not understand the past tense as to how it changed. I sent it to a friend who is Hispanic and he corrected it for me. Then I went online and downloaded Abiword. After downloading Abiword I had to set my keyboard using the windows 98 disc for the international keyboard so I could type the symbols over the letters. Then I went back online and downloaded the Spanish dictionary for Abiword which had to be loaded into the dictionary section of the program for Abiword for it to work. This took me about two hours to do because I did not understand exactly how to load Abiword or that I needed to set it to the Spanish language and also to load the Spanish Dictionary addition to the program. Abiword does not automatically correct or put in suggestions. It only underlines incorrectly spelled words or words the program does not know. I had to use an additional grammar program for Spanish and a Spanish dictionary. Now all I have to do is to have my teacher check it again to see if I finally have this correct.

Mis Vacaciones en Europa

Cuando fui militar en Alemania tuve vacaciones en Europa.  Yo mire Suiza, Berlín, Suecia, Linchester, y Inglaterra.  Yo fui en coche, tren, avión, barco, y autobus.  Cuando yo estaba en Alemania yo fui a los Alpes de Suiza.  En Suiza yo tome fresco Suizo chocolate.  Traje suéter de Italia y ropa interior de Alemania porque es mucho frío.  

Cuando yo no trabajo en el fin de semana yo fui al parke de Aschaffenburg.  Le di comida a los cisnes y tome fresco con hielo.  Mi novio de Alemania y yo fuimos a lugares con grandes piscinas y muchas fuentes y salto talas, estuvo, muy divertido para nosotros cuando salto en un momento yo perdí mi traje de baño.  Mi novio me pregunto porque estas en el agua mucho tiempo, a mi novio le dio risa cuando le conté que había perdido mis dos partes del traje de baño.

Cuando mi hermana me visito viajamos a Europa en ferrocarril (tren) nosotros fuimos a muchos lugares lindos en Europa.  Nosotros miramos un poquito de la fuente de sirena.  En la mañana nosotros tomamos leche caliente con chocolate.  Nosotros visitamos las fuentes y canales de Bélgica.  Nosotros nos quedamos en un lindo hotel de Europa en la mañana nosotros tomamos leche caliente con chocolate. Comimos pan con mantequilla avellana y chocolate para desayuno (es muy rico, bueno, y me gusta muy mucho - es tradicional desayuno de Europa y Alemania).

Nosotros fuimos a muchas iglesias grandes en Europa.  Las iglesias tienen ventanas con Vidrios de muchos colores y tienen reliquias con huesos de santos con oro embalsamado.

Cuando mis vacaciones se terminaron yo estaba muy cansada porque fui a muchos lugares en Europa, y me fui a la cama a dormir.
