| Geocities is shutting down, thanks for your patronage Just a Clarification here- To those of you who read my Post on facebook or on this page about looks vs. personality It doesnt go without saying that you will face consequences of your choices, and this is true to a large extent. I wrote that as a way of having an opinion on the matter but it turned out to look like a plea of desperation and i apologize for that. There is nothing wrong here, i am completely fine, dont take what i wrote out of context because that is not what i meant to show. I have gotten comments out of the article that is was well written, but facebook wasnt the venue for that. This will be my last official commentary, read it while it lasts, when this page is gone then its gone. Pick up artists and the seduction community: Of course, if you have seen the 40-year-old virgin, which came out 4 years ago around this time, told us a story of a man who, unfortunately, went through life not experiencing what most guys experience in their teens and early twenties. However, like all movies, we see in the end that he got his act together and got married. As a result of this, we saw a TV show on VH1 called the pick up artist, which was successful enough for two seasons to get launched. What comes out of this is some "get the girl" quick scheme which makes hopeful guys out there believe that if they did exactly what these pick up artists did then they can fix that part of their life. Now, i am not here to bash on pick up artists, if they are happy with however their lives are going then i am not here to stop them. I write this article to give hope to those who havent gotten their act together to write that pick up artists technique are not what they seem, they make guys fake because they are running lines and rehearsing situations that they are ready for should something happen. It does not make the person who is using it look like a plain or ordinary guy you would see in regular situations, rather it is a guy that has been trained to act with strings rather than a guy who knows what he is doing. In one's life there comes a time where if he wants something, he should realzie that he needs to make changes that are congruent to him which will make him more confident in the end, not through some ponze scheme that will "make" you look like your great when you realize that greatness comes from inside, not from learning things that you should learn by vicarious experience. This is also shown in the movie that i alluded to earlier in the paragraph. In other words time will heal all your problems because eventually you will know what to do and you dont need some cop out strategy. |
