Lois & Clark: the
New Adventures of Superman
was not just a television show, it was
an experience, just ask any FoLC who had a
weekly date with their
television set Sunday nights at 8:00 PM for four years. (Um,
well, and
then Sundays at 7:00 PM and then Saturdays, etc, as ABC jerked it around).
In any case, it was four years I will never forget. Please sit back,
relax, and
enjoy my tribute to the best show ever to grace
television! |

Who are Lois & Clark, what is an
FoLC, and why should you

Let me start by explaining this
"FoLC" thing! FoLC is simply
an acronym for Fan of Lois & Clark. But
then, if you found this page by searcing for
Lois & Clark, then you
probably already know that! |
|
|
L&C put a super
spin on the traditional story of
Superman. Instead of a nerdy, clumsy
Clark Kent and a helpless, hapless
Lois Lane to go with the title superhero, Lois
& Clark had a humble,
conscientious "farmboy" and a strong, self assured city
girl. |
|
|
L&C lasted four seasons
before ABC canceled it. :-( It made
me laugh, it made me cry and it made
me think. It was also a moral television show
(IMHO). There will just
never be another show that can compare. I really wish ABC
had kept it on,
but if my only choice was four years or no L&C at all, then I'm glad
for
the four years L&C was on! If you're a loyal FoLC, then I hope this site
brings
back some great memories. If you've never seen Lois & Clark,
then I hope my
site helps get you interested! |
