The Introspective Puzzle
In the mirror stares a young beauty
Smiling, vibrant - she stands tall

This face, so young
though already broken in
Weathered - gracefully
Each freckle a story of dancing in the sun
Each sparkle in her eyes a glimmer of the moonlit nights of self discovery

In her eyes, you can catch a glimpse of her soul
A perfect puzzle, just to keep life interesting
A dreamer, a realist - an oxymoron?
A paradox at best

She looks just over the horizon
Dreaming of the future she knows she can have
Wondering how it'll all fit together
If she'll get what she wants

A little voice, the antagonist in her head
Sparks moments of self-doubt that change, re-arrange
all her hopes and dreams
Sending her confidence spiraling towards rock bottom

Old soul, young mind - they constantly contradict
-------a generation gap within herself
This old soul knows the routine
Glides along, calculates every curve
As the young mind questions each road, distracted by all the choices

Naive and knowledgeable
Proud and humble
Self-doubting and confident
Serious and silly
A bit of this, a pinch of that

(instant human)

A perfect puzzle to make life interesting
