The National Society emblem for members who join when a young adult is the Golden Acorn, which is exactly right.  From those little acorns grow our mighty Oaks.  Our members are like those acorns.  They become strong, sturdy representatives of our ancestors, committed to the preservation of our freedoms, our history, and our heritage.
