Article Three: Treasurer Section One The Treasurer of MSUWRFC is the officer solely responsible for all monetary funds. She is to keep all records and books on expenditures. The Treasurer is responsible for making a semi-annual budget including in it funds for but not limited to traveling expenses, CIPP dues, equipment, jersey repair, party supplies, medical equipment for each game, and tournament fees. The Treasurer must work hand-in-hand with the university and the President to assure that all university allocated funds are properly spent and accounted for. The Treasurer is also responsible for the collecting of CIPP dues and club dues. Upon reception of all dues the treasurer will document all funds received and fill out tow receipts: on for the Match Secretary and on for the Treasurer. It is only when the Treasurer receives the dues that a member is considered active. The Treasurer is solely responsible for keeping the campus recreation office informed about funds and expenditures, as well as to maintain the bank account set up by the university. The Treasurer will also keep good standing with the bank on all situations, while keeping bank statements documented and available upon request. Every amount of money collected and spent will be documented and accounted for. It is the Treasurer’s responsibility to buy and keep a book with all information kept within and to pass that book down as new Treasurers are elected.
Section Two The Treasurer is required to be a part of the MSUWRFC for at least one semester before being elected to the office. In a situation where the Treasurer leaves or is removed from office before the end of the given term, the President is to call a meeting with the Match Secretary and vote between eligible candidates to replace the position as soon as possible.
Section Three The responsibilities of the Treasurer that can be delegated include but are not limited to: paying funds out for traveling (i.e. gas, lodging, etc.), paying for tournament fees, paying for referees, and paying CIPP promptly. The treasurer may appoint two members of the club to assist her in the semi-annual budget. All fore mentioned responsibilities are that of the Treasurer and will be done by the Treasurer in a prompt and efficient manner if not delegated to others in the club |

By-Laws of the MSUWRFC
1. All women will be invited to play regardless of race, creed, religion and athletic ability.
2. All members new and old must pay their CIPP dues to remain a member and play. If CIPP dues are not paid, those individuals are not members of the MSUWRFC.
3. All dues must be paid before a student is allowed to play in a match.
4. All members must have or attain health insurance by the 8th practice or remain dormant until insurance is acquired.
5. Members are required to practice twice a week. In the case where practice is missed, those missing will run additional laps at the end of the next practice they show up for.
6. If any member is late to practice, she must run a lap after practice unless President, Match Secretary and Treasurer approve the excuse.
7. All members who miss practice will be the last chosen to play in a game. Based on your commitment the President, Match Secretary, Treasurer and Coach will decide who plays and starts games.
8. Practice will only be cancelled after the President, Match Secretary and Treasurer agree that weather conditions are dangerous, that certain outstanding events would lead to a cancelled practice, or otherwise told by the university.
9. Only the appointed officer may do the responsibilities of that office, unless that officer has delegated that responsibility to another member. In the case where an officer is not present, no action of that particular office can be taken.
10. The officers must call a semester end meeting to discuss the state of the club and the upcoming semester, as well as to have elections as needed.
11. No one is allowed to complain to others for problems, but rather to come up with possible solutions and recommend those to their elected officers.
12. All new laws can be brought up at the end of the semester meeting and voted on. If passed by a majority, the new law will be amended to the constitution. |
