Relief

These are some of the works that I produced in a Relief Class. They were all carved into large wood blocks. After that they were inked and ran though a press.

This was a relief of a mix of things. It starts off with a lady sleeping on a maze. In the background there is a street sign of love, hate, peace, and war. There is also doves dropping bombs. This was carved on a piece of wood 27x22 1/2. Created: 2001

This was a relief of a dragon. It was carved on a piece of wood that was 16x20. Created:2001

This piece is of a self-portrait. It has butterflies all around. I used butterflies because the meaning of the name Vanessa is butterfly.. This piece was carved on a wood piece 12x12. Created:2001
