The Time Stranger costume is the first TSK costume I ever did. At the time I was having trouble figuring out what color her dress and boots were. I had pictures that showed her dress was white and then I had some that showed her dress was more of a tan color. It was only after I saw the 15 minute Chocola short that I found out both boots and dress were suppose to be white. By that time I had already made the dress white and I had boots that I was using that were more of a tan color. Oh well. The wig was my old Leena wig that I cut to look like Kyoko's hair, the earrings were made out of sculpy.
The Birthday Dress was something that I had wanted to make after seeing the cover of the second Manga. It was gorgeous but I couldn't find fabric to use for it till I was in Joann's one day and found the perfect stuff for the skirt. I both like this costume and don't like it. I wish now that I had just submitted and put a zipper in the back instead of trying to make it fit without one, instead it just sags. The jewelry stuff was interesting most of it is gold trim that I sewed into a round then sewed painted jewels onto. The crown was a silver one from one of those Oriental trading cateloges which I painted gold, removed the fake diamonds and put the blue jewels in. |
