| I've always been a big fan of the Suikoden games but I never got around to making any costumes from them. This one happened to be my first of several made. Lo Fong was a cute character with a not so hard costume, and I already had the yellow fabric, the white bicycling shorts and I found the blue fabric for $1.00 per yard at Walmart. The biggest problem for the costume was figuring out what to use to make the danglies for her hairstick. I ended up buying picture frame hangers cutting off the curved portion and running a ring through the hole that was already drilled for the nail and through a hold that I had drilled in the chopstick I bought. It turned out rather well and I've ended up wearing the hairstick for several other costumes and outfits. |
