| Where to start with this one? This was a very interesting costume to make. The belt buckle hair piece and broach thingy were all made out of sculpy. The gold on the top of the cape and sleeves had the design hand drawn with pencil, then I went back over it with several of the washable sharpies. Which is probably one of my favorite parts about the costume. The horn was one of a set of pan horns I got from the renfest. The only problem was that it was too heavy to stay on with spirit glue, so I did something very dumb. I glued it on with hot glue. ~.~ I told you it was dumb. So moving on the triangluar pieces were ironed on with the help of steam a seam. I love that stuff. The bottom of the dress kept getting under my feet when I walked, I was so annoyed I put a wire in the hem of the dress. All in all this costume was very fun to wear. If I ever wear it again I'll be getting a different horn. >.< |
