The OAV costume was the first one of hers that was made. My mother made this one for me. It was very simple, clean and fun. However, I was scolded twice while wearing it. Once for putting the thing on right side over left (which is a no-no) and the second for smiling too much. ^.^ I can't help it.
When I saw that there was a TV series and what her outfit looked like in it I really wanted to make it. So this one was made by me, with help from my mother. I'm not sure what I like the most about this costume, weather its the fact that this one makes me look better, wether its because I made it, or just the overall look of the costume with all the bows. Whatever the case this one is my favorite of the two.
In both cases my real hair was used. I think this is also the point that I realized with my hair all combed over to one side it made me look like Soi from Fushigi Yugi. ^.^ |
