We went on a Bayou boat ride...this was one of the few alligators around that day.

A cypress tree.

A pretty typical scene on the bayou.

This was an old Civil War fort we saw coming back from the delta.  We also discovered this area was one of the first settled in the state.

We didn't actually go here...I think April had to use the bathroom...so we stopped.

That Civil War fort was crawling with all sorts of lizards..this was one of them.  His name was Phil.
