This was our hotel during our stay in the City..the Baldwin Hotel.  The Chinatown Gate was about 50 feet away. And here is the gate..April is to the left of the lion on the right side of the picture. Another shot of Chinatown.
Thats the TransAmerica pyramid on the left.  I thought this was an interesting shot, sort of contrasting the new with the old.  I later found out that this is a pretty common photograph.
Mike on the bay.
Coit Tower atop Telegraph Hill.  The tower was built as a memorial to San Francisco firemen.
These famous Victorian style houses are known as the "Painted Ladies".
