Family  2007  Colorado Trip

For summer 2007, I gave the kids several options to consider for the summer vacation trip.  After much deliberation, they really wanted to go back to Colorado.  Below are links to pics and slideshows of some fun we had on the trip.

Denver:   We first dropped in to visit and stay at brother Greg's house for a couple days to allow us to get acclimated to 5000+ altitude.  We decided to visit the Science Center, the Aquarium and a popular Mexican restaurant:for a fun dinner.  See the link below for some pics and the slideshow:

RMNPark: Our next stop after leaving Denver was to visit Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time with the kids. We mixed some fun game activities in after a day long hike up to Emerald Lake - which we all enjoyed.

Breckenridge:    The next day we traveled to Breckenridge so we could visit the Country Boy Gold Mine and also play on Peak 8.   We closed out our Colorado trip by doing a rafting trip down Clear Creek!  The kids had been rafting before so this was a trip with class 2 to 2+ rapids.  We got stuck a few times on large boulders in the middle of the stream.  Check out the link.
