Ski Trip  - 2007

We liked our 2006 Ski Trip so much that we decided to go again in 2007.  Of course, a contributor to that decision was the fact that we got the kids started on lessons in '06 and it made sense to continue the learning in 2007.  Plus, their ski clothes from last year '06 still fit them - woohoo!!!

We went back to Breckenridge since we like being in the Summit area.  The weather was nasty driving out to Denver 60+ mph winds and we hit -4 degrees the first night driving.  We stopped by to visit my brother Greg again and the kids had fun playing with Teagan and Tanner.  The Colorado Steinmetz still had a mountain of snow in their yard (see Picture).

This year, Kendall and Clay only needed 2 days of lessons before skiing with us.  They were even able to progress to moderate blues off the top.  Cole decided to learn snow boarding this year and only needed 3 days to get the hang of it.  He actually got to up the very difficult T-Bar lift to work his first back-area Black run - Pika.    All the kids did great!!
