I raise all cats and kittens in my home, with babies being born in the 'kitten room', the spare bedroom, with my constant watchful eye. Once born, kittens are weighed daily to make sure everyone is eating and gaining weight. I become very attached to all my cats and kittens as they are my family members and want them to only go to the best pet homes available. This is my hobby, a very rewarding hobby, NOT a business. I insist on anyone interested in one of my kittens or cats to come to my home so I can meet them and they have the chance to meet me and my feline family. Of course, if you live a long distance away I wouldn't expect you to make the trip but I do want to know about you and your family. Since my cats live in the house, kittens become socialized to just about everything. I have three (3) dogs and a teenage son, so there is always someone coming or going, dogs barking, etc. When they leave home to go to their new home nothing seems to bother them. I have had many a new mom and dad call just to let me know their new pride and joy just walked out of the carrier like they've lived there all their lives, just kind of taking it all in. As a rule kittens are ready to go to their new homes at 12 - 14 weeks of age. Any kittens that are under observation for potential show cats are not available until a later date. I do ship my cats and kittens but kittens will not be shipped until they are 14 to 16 weeks of age. They all go in to see their vet at 11 weeks to get a thorough check up and be micro-chipped. One kitten of each litter will be tested for FELV, FIV and FIP. This is to assure me and you of the litters health. All adults have tested NEGATIVE for these. I have HCM and HD testing on my breeding adults. This too is to ensure the health of my cats so that genetic problems are not being passed on in my breeding program. I would like you to read my pet contract so that you know exactly what I expect from you and you in turn know what to expect from me. I do not give cash refunds if the kitten you choose does ot work out. I will take the kitten back and give you another kitten when one is available. This is just one reason to make sure that you are ready to commit your life to one of my babies. Living inside, as I insitst on and is in my contract, these wonderful cats can live to be 15 to 20 years old. The Maine Coon Cat is a sweet, loving, affectionate, good natured cat. These are only a few reasons I have dedicated my life and time to them. Once a Maine Coon owns you, you'll never want another breed of cat. This is my CONTRACT LINK .
