Welcome
to my poetry page. I used to write some pretty depressing stuff. But in the last year, my heart has lifted some, so to show I am trying to go forward, here is my latest poem. I hope you like it. It was inspired by a wonderful man, thank you Ed, for helping me see the sun.
Daydreams
A warm breeze brushes my cheek as I kneel under a canopy of soft clouds
The smells of earth and nature envelope me in their soft embrace with a promise
Looking up with the eyes of love I see in the distance
Strong and gentle hands and heart, smiling, coming closer, anticipation building
A gentle kiss and a hair caressed I melt into the arms of oblivion ,colored soft and misty
I recollect books and poems attempting to describe heaven, they pale and fade compared
Gathering the days harvest we walk...hand in hand....into pure paradise
