Nomination 1 of season 2006/07 presented us here at "mounted" with the first ever "muppet of the week".
The award goes to Steven "Vix" Viccars. Whilst Steven's offence did not take place during a game or training, it did occur at the MWCC clubrooms during a private function on Saturday night.
The occasion was Campbell Horlock's 40th birthday party with a theme of "black and white". Vix decided he would attend dressed as an AFL umpire - which in itself should solicit a barage of abuse.
That however was not Vix's trespass - it was his continual use of the umpire's whistle to the annoyance of all and sundry.
One can only hope that someone decided to test whether Vix was able to gain the same decible level when using it from the "other end"... |
