For transmitting, your Mic
preamp or processor must be in OFF position. Do not feed in too much of
audio to your Radio mic it can be adjusted from the Master Out Volume and
also from your Radio Mic gain.
For the start make the connection
for receiving as 4.1. Feel the touch of digital first.

It's all depend on propagation...since
this is a new digital mode normally during weekend you will find many of
Amateur digitaling.
Try to reduce your receiver
rf gain. On your PC Volume Master Out Click Options then Properties. Then
Click Recording then Click OK and on Master Record select Line or Mic.
These is where you feed in your Receiver Audio to your soundcard. Adjust
the Volume level untill the PSK31 Spectrum
Black Box turn to gray look like a rain fall. White line indicate the
present of signal and it should be place at the center mark of black box.
When the right mode is detected, red dancing bar will turn in to
yellow.
