Submission Guidelines

If you've enjoyed the site, and wish to submit something of your own, here are the requirements:

Content

As stated above, this website was started primarily as a resource for the performers of the Seadogs of St. Dymphna, as well as anyone with an interest in entertainment of a nautical persuasion. With this in mind, content for submission is encouraged over a WIDE range of topics. Suggested topics (by no means an exhaustive list) are:

Improvisational tips, styles and examples
Seadog Minutiae (lore, history of the guild, etc.)
Performance Hints (storytelling, songset etiquette, etc)
Nautical History
Character building tips
Advice to new (and aspiring) Seadogs
Nautical Reference Material
Craft Instructions (Knot work, etc)
Costuming Options and Guides
Accent Guidelines (Arrrrr!)
Anything else concerning the Seadogs
Anything else concerning any other aspects you'd like to see

Note that this book is intended as a showcase for ALL individuals willing to contribute. If someone has done something on a topic you were considering, please feel free to contribute your own piece on it. There's room in the Seadogs for many
varied styles, and there's room on this site for them too.

Please send all submissions to me, here.
