IDEA = Innovative Decision with an Exciting Application possibility

INNOVATE = IN-NOV-ATE: create something new by oneself alone

This definition highlights the emotive aspects of an idea, while stating factual understanding … about every idea being a possibility (until it is actualized), and about ideas being innovative decisions, created by ourselves alone, and through a process of challenging ourselves to innovate. Of course decisions are what ideas are, because each idea is the choice we make to dare a solution strategy.

The excitement we feel when we have an idea is an integral part of the idea, which comes from the emotional ownership we have for our ideas.

Usually, several ideas about something lead to a conclusive decision being taken, as a choice from among all of them after consideration but within the time given to make the decision. Our ability to take the right decision depends to some extent on our ability to ideate and compare ideas.
