MANAGE = man-age: the result of manning
MANAGEMENT = manage-ment: mentoring, or coaching, or increasing levels of awareness and responsibility towards the results of manning, achieving what has been decided to be achieved.
The objective of management of anything is to grow it, be it businesses, people, or knowledge.
Management has been defined in many ways, the most lucid being Management is the arrangement and utilization of people (knowledge, skills, and attitudes), resources, infrastructure, technology, systems, methods, and processes to achieve a planned outcome.

Management matures when they are able to continue operating effectively without having all the questions answered. MS

Professionalism
Professionalism demands we MBO and MBR J. MBO Manage by Objectives, and MBR Manage by Responsibility.
Manage by Objectives (MBO)
MBO begins with the end in mind, Setting up what you want at the end of an endeavor, the Goal, working back to plan all the key steps, tracking the progressing reality with the plan to ensure the prevention of any rework and meeting the schedule is what MBO is about.
Manage by Responsibility (MBR)
MBR has two principles:
