  Title: Development of software, for Reliability Estimation of Cooling System of 
          Nuclear Reactors
 
All systems are required to perform their expected function with high level of reliability during   the prescribed service time. In particular where failure can cause human loss or economical        loss, reliability assurance becomes of crucial importance. The objective of this rojectis to estimate reliability of cooling system, which is used in Nuclear reactors. The work is planned to   calculate reliability using two methods viz. simulation methods and analytical methods. Thisproject implements analytical methods such as FORM/SORM which are found to be         popular now days. These methods are very fast and accurate. Methods discussed in Literature      are of generalized nature so customization of these methods has been done for cooling system     problem. Software has been developed for above methods using database package VB6. The         platform used is window2000. Software is capable of calculating failure probabilities of system.
