Longears in motion. The Gaits for donkeys, mules, zebras, and zebra hybrids are exactly the same as for horses. The main differences you will have to deal with in scupting models or in art is the shape of the hip and the musculature. Don't muscle up a donkey sculpture like a Quarter horse. They are smoother, and the hip shape is different. The Breyer Lady Phase is not a good candidate for a donkey model without some serious rework, and not that credible as a mule without some smoothing. Leah |

A rather pronounced hip on a wildly spotted mule, but note that the second muscle curve is not as developed as on a horse. The hip is fuller than a donkeys, but not large like on the LP or an Ish. |
